The work recounts al-Ghazali’s search for certainty, his critique of different paths to knowledge, and his eventual turn towards Sufism. This Indonesian edition was translated from the Arabic and annotated by K. H. Raden Abdullah bin Nuh, an important Indonesian Islamic scholar and translator of al-Ghazali.
