One folding map at the rear, short fold tear repaired on the verso with washi, author portrait frontispiece with foxed tissue guard, vi + 300pp, index, light foxing first and last leaves, some pages unopened with a few leaves carelessly opened. Red cloth covered boards lettered in gilt with Chinese characters in black on the upper board, rear covers slightly marked. Spine faded, colour retouched, lower corners bumped, but a clean and sturdy copy. 21 x 13.5cm.
