Illustrated with ninety-nine (of one hundred) full page colour plates with titled tissue-guards, plate no. 65 lacking , text by Dorothy Menpes. xii + 210pp, top edge gilt, 22 x 15cm. Signature and date of a prior owner on front paste-down, titling blocked in gilt on the front and the spine. Moderate signs of wear at extremities, still a good copy published one month after the first edition.
