Join us for a special Sunday afternoon treat on December 1st when Jackie French and Virginia Hooker, authors of All of Us. A History of Southeast Asia will be in conversation at Asia Bookroom.

All of Us is a history of Southeast Asia for children but it is also a book that people of all ages would gain much from. A stunning book. The experiences of two children as they travel through the history of Southeast Asia are told in verse, a timeline accompanies each period and throughout Mark Wilson's stunning illustrations contribute still more to bringing each period to life. I know of no other book like it. What a contribution to the understanding of Southeast Asia! It would make a very important and different present for any child. Teacher's notes are freely available here on the publisher's website. This book should be in every school library.
