ATESOL ACT and Asia Bookroom are pleased to host Translating Lives - A Discussion with Professor Anna Wierzbicka Internationally acclaimed linguist Professor Anna Wierzbicka, and her daughter Dr Mary Besemeres co-edited the book "Translating lives: Living with two languages and cultures." It recounts the moving personal experiences of 12 bilingual Australians, sharing how immersion in two cultures affects one's perspective of the world and relationship with other people.
