Jono Lineen is a author, curator and public speaker whose writing is informed by landscape and humankind’s connection to it. His recent book Into the Heart of the Himalayas is the narrative of a 2700-kilometre solo trek he made through the Western Himalayas and its connection to his coming to terms with the tragic death of his younger brother.

His first book River Trilogy was a comparative travelogue on three of the world’s great rivers, the Ganges, the Rhine and the Tatshenshini. Currently he works as a curator at the National Museum of Australia; his latest exhibition is Lag | Meta | Aus, Home in the Torres Strait.
